IDG believes that improving the overall economic condition of a community and its individual members leads to a stronger, more inclusive economy for society as a whole. Aggressive development through investment, partnerships, and improving capacity to participate are cornerstones for economic development success. We work everyday focused on a more balanced economy for all of Canada’s Aboriginal Communities.

IDG and its Partners will leverage all of the capacity and knowledge within its network  to support Indigenous Economic Development at the grassroots levels within the Communities , in concert with Leaders and Elders, individual members , and potential Private Sector Partners. 

Community Engagement and Alignment is a core principle of our work. We believe that every Indigenous community or entrepreneur are central to their economic success. Through our proprietary engagement process, we understand that goals and plans are in a continual state of change. Having a planning process that clearly recognizes that allows communities and individual indigenous businesses to adapt to change and benefit.
